Social Aids

As Bornova Municipality, we have implemented our City Restaurant project in order to strengthen social solidarity and support our low-income citizens. In our restaurants that were initially opened in Çamdibi, Kızılay and Mevlana Neighborhoods, we offer affordable and healthy food services to our citizens. In order to increase the quality of life of the needy and disadvantaged segments living in Bornova and to provide social assistance services befitting human dignity, we have opened 7 branches of the 9 Kent Markets in different parts of the city. Kent Soup Stop We distribute hot soup to approximately 300 people between 07:00-09:00 5 days a week at the Bornova Metro Station exit in the winter months. Catering Vehicle We provide service with three catering vehicles for our citizens' condolence, funeral and mevlid gatherings. Table & Chair Tent Service We provide table, chair and funeral tent services in line with requests such as funerals, mevlids and Ramadan iftar meals. Fuel Assistance We provide wood and coal assistance in line with the needs of our citizens, provided that they register with the Kent Markets.
