Within the boundaries of our district, in accordance with Article 51 of the Municipal Law No. 5393, the Municipal Police is responsible for ensuring public order, peace, health, and safety. For this purpose, the Directorate is tasked with enforcing the orders and prohibitions established by the Municipal Council, and applying the penalties and other sanctions stipulated in the legislation to those who fail to comply.

Additionally, in areas such as main roads and arterial streets that fall under the jurisdiction of İzmir Metropolitan Municipality, municipal police services are provided in coordination within the scope of authority, duty, and responsibility.

In the evaluation of complaints and requests received from our citizens, legal actions are taken within the framework of applicable legislation, and applicants are informed about the processes and actions taken.
