Mayor Eşki Visits Fincancılar Bazaar

Bornova Mayor Ömer Eşki visited Fincancılar Bazaar in Pınarbaşı, which offers retail and wholesale kitchenware, meeting both with shopkeepers and the site management. Mayor Eşki, who spoke with Mehmet Bala Telingün, Chair of the Fincancılar Bazaar Site Management Board, provided information about the investments made in Pınarbaşı and shared details of new projects.

Continuing his field visits to listen to the problems and requests of Bornova residents on-site, Mayor Ömer Eşki also keeps meeting with local tradespeople. Most recently, together with Municipal Council Member Akın Dalgıç, he toured Fincancılar Bazaar in Pınarbaşı, listened to the shopkeepers' requests and needs, and observed the situation firsthand. He gathered information about the current state of the bazaar and discussed potential steps the municipality could take.


“Our investments will continue”

Providing details about the work carried out in Pınarbaşı, Mayor Eşki said:
“We have completed asphalt work on the section of Pınar Street up to Pınarbaşı Square. We finished the area near the wedding halls. We will also carry out intersection improvements in the central part. In the coming days, we will move on to the side streets. We identified areas where paving stones have collapsed, and all of these will be reorganized in a uniform manner. We will also carry out lighting work on the roads. In addition, we are preparing two new projects for this area. Our investments will continue.”

Expressing their satisfaction with the work carried out in Pınarbaşı, Mehmet Bala Telingün said:
“Our site hosts 106 businesses. About 10,000 vehicles enter and exit daily. We are very pleased that you have observed the problems we’ve faced with the roads and are implementing new improvements. On behalf of our site’s tradespeople, we thank you.”
