Zafer Street to Shine from End to End

Bornova Mayor Ömer Eşki inspected the ongoing road renovation works on Zafer Street in Kazım Dirik Neighborhood and announced that second-layer asphalt paving, sidewalks, median arrangements, and lighting works will begin. He stated that potholes formed after the first asphalt layer were filled for safety reasons and that the street will soon gain a modern and aesthetic appearance. He also noted that the long-awaited transformation of Süvari Street will follow after the completion of these works.

Bornova Mayor Ömer Eşki, together with relevant department officials, examined the road construction works on Zafer Street—one of the busiest arteries of Kazım Dirik Neighborhood. It was observed that the works, aimed at strengthening the district’s transportation infrastructure, are progressing in a planned manner.

Second asphalt layer and new arrangements underway

Mayor Eşki stated that the first layer of asphalt between Mustafa Kemal Street and Süvari Street has been completed and that the second layer will soon begin. Following this, sidewalks will be renewed, the central median will be redesigned, and modern lighting systems will be installed.

“A safe and modern street”

Emphasizing that potholes formed after the first asphalt layer were quickly repaired to prevent risks for drivers, Eşki said:
“We have taken the necessary precautions to ensure traffic is not disrupted and to prevent accidents. Very soon, this place will become one of the most vibrant areas of Bornova with its road, sidewalks, median, and lighting.”

Next stop: Süvari Street

Eşki added that once the works on Zafer Street are completed, the long-anticipated transformation of Süvari Street will be implemented. He also stated that projects aimed at improving transportation comfort across Bornova will continue.
