Two colorful plays took the stage

As part of the İzmir Children and Youth Theatres Festival, two special plays staged under the hosting of Bornova Municipality attracted great interest from young audiences. The free performances brought children together with art in an engaging and entertaining way.

Great interest in “Stories with Grandpa Rüya”

Staged at the Altındağ Atatürk Cultural Center Yıldız Kenter Stage, “Rüya Dede ile Hikâyeler” introduced children to a warm and imaginative world. Created by İlker Kılıçer, the play combined puppetry and music, offering colorful and lively moments on stage. Accompanied by songs, the storytelling provided children with both fun and unforgettable experiences.

A nature-filled adventure with “Maviş Baba”

Another highlight of the festival, “Maviş Baba Kelebek Avcısı,” was performed at the Mevlana Community and Science Center Prof. Dr. Abdullah Kızılırmak Hall. Centered around a love of nature, the play captivated children with its vibrant stage design and entertaining characters. Young viewers embarked on an enjoyable and educational journey in Maviş Baba’s world.

Generations growing up with art

The festival, hosted by Bornova Municipality, once again demonstrated its commitment to introducing children to art at an early age. Thanks to free events, many children experienced theater, while the high attendance clearly reflected the strong interest in the festival.
