Children Will Learn and Have Fun at the Mevlana Community and Science Center

Bornova Municipality continues to make summer vacation both enjoyable and educational for children through a variety of engaging activities. The Summer Science Workshops, to be held at the Mevlana Community and Science Center from July 21–23 and July 28–30, will welcome young science enthusiasts with hands-on experiments, observations, and interactive learning experiences.

Throughout the two-week program, children will participate in a wide range of activities, including Building Strong Structures, Solar Observation, Mind Games, Simple Electricity Experiments, The Solar System, Solar Oven, and The Taste of Mathematics: Lemonade. They will also have the opportunity to create their own products in workshops on cologne, soap, candles, and perfume.

Hands-On Activities to Inspire Scientific Curiosity

The workshops are designed to foster children's scientific thinking while enhancing their creativity and practical skills. Following a learning-by-doing approach, participants will conduct experiments, make observations, and explore how science connects with everyday life through interactive activities.
