In an event organized in collaboration with Bornova Municipality, Her Yer Çocuk Association, Bornova City Council, and Kızılay Neighborhood Mukhtar’s Office, children spent a science-filled day at the Bornova Municipality Mevlana Community and Science Center.

The children explored the skies in astronomy workshops and traveled millions of years back in time in paleontology workshops, learning about dinosaurs. The excitement of the little ones, who learned while having fun, was truly a sight to see.

Mayor Eşki: “Generations raised with science are the guarantee of a bright future”

Bornova Mayor Ömer Eşki emphasized that the Mevlana Community and Science Center provides children with an educational environment that fosters a love for science, stating:
“At this center, our children learn to look up at the sky, to be curious, and to question. We are raising generations in Bornova who grow up in the light of science. We are happy to contribute to our children’s development through such collaborations.”

Bornova City Council President, Attorney Doğan Baran Mengüş, who attended the event with the children, said:
