Bornova Municipality’s 6th Book Days is bringing together 63 publishing houses and 463 authors with the people of Bornova at Büyükpark. In addition to talks, panels, and book signings, workshops for women and children and concerts on the Homeros Stage add vibrancy to the event. Mayor Ömer Eşki emphasized that Book Days contributes to culture and art while illuminating Bornova’s path.

Organized for the 6th time by Bornova Municipality, Book Days continues at Büyükpark with the participation of 63 publishing houses and 463 authors. Alongside author talks, panels, conferences, and signing days, events specifically designed for women and children have also attracted great interest.

Special events for women and children
As part of the program, yoga, pilates, and cooking workshops are held for women, while children enjoy puppet shows, mind games, handicrafts, photography, painting, and storytelling workshops. Book Days aims to make culture and art accessible to all segments of society, offering an unforgettable experience for Bornova residents.

Concerts every evening at the Homeros Stage
At the heart of Büyükpark, the Homeros Stage hosts concerts, rhythm performances, and folk dance shows every evening. These events, blending literature and music, are followed with great enthusiasm by Bornovalılar.

Coffee for book lovers
As Book Days continues to bring readers together at Büyükpark, visitors who purchased or donated books on October 1, World Coffee Day, were treated to coffee and cookies. A day filled with books turned into an even more enjoyable evening atmosphere.
