A Yoga Gathering in 8,500 Years of History

2 May 2025

Bornova Municipality is organizing a free Tao Vinyasa (Yang Yoga) workshop at the Yeşilova Mound Visitor Center, blending history and wellness in a unique setting. Led by yoga instructor Esra İnce, the event aims to help participants strengthen the mind-body connection while offering a modern experience in a historical atmosphere.

The Bornova Municipality Museum Directorate continues to bring together culture and wellness at the Yeşilova Mound Visitor Center. Located on a site with 8,500 years of historical heritage, the center will host “Tao Vinyasa (Yang Yoga)” workshops every Sunday throughout May (May 4, 11, 18, and 25) from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. The workshops are free and open to everyone with the motto: “Bring your mat and join!”

Enriched with elements of Far Eastern martial arts and modern dance, this special yoga practice is designed to help participants better understand their bodies, build strength, and improve balance. Tao Vinyasa is especially noted for its flowing sequences that complement and balance Yin Yoga poses.

History, Health, and Culture Under One Roof

Offering a yoga experience in the heart of history and in touch with nature, the workshop integrates the cultural legacy of Yeşilova Mound with the rhythm of modern life. For more information and registration, participants can call +90 534 278 61 84.
